The Coaching Staff is responsible for: 

• Helping Cheerleaders develop their skills, character, and maintain their positive academic standing. 

• The fair treatment and respect of all team members.

• Ensuring that team members are safe, as the top priority at all times. That first aid is available and the emergency contact list is always kept up to date and present. 

• Organizing and arranging training schedules, practices, equipment, training facilities, and events.

Coaching Staff Discretion: 

• All Leland High School Cheerleading rules will be interpreted and carried out by the Coaching Staff under the guidance of the Athletic Director. With the exception of the Athletic Code which is mandated by the school, the Interpretation of all other rules set forth in this Contract is at the discretion of the Coaching Staff.
